NTB2874 Topsail Beach Tranquility

The beach house was perfect for our two week stay! The view of the ocean from the living area and also the bedrooms was beautiful. We took several walks on the beach - even when we got all that snow! 😂 We enjoyed visiting with our family who lived nearby. We also loved that it was pet friendly. Our golden doodle enjoyed her stay as well. We would stay here again.

My sister and I stayed last week during Hurricane Erin and had a great time. There were several little issues but VACASA staff quickly responded and resolved them. The house was great, every room has deck access and ocean view. The elevator was handy. The beach stair access is maybe 75 yards away, super easy. I did feel the basic amenities were very limited compared to experiences I've had with other properties. That being said, I'd still stay here again.

This house was perfect for my family and two dogs! It had a fenced in part that the dogs could roam freely. It’s had all the spices u could need. Even though it was 107° outside, the ACs kept up nicely. We loved it!!

Comfortable, Large, nicely decorated rooms, each having large sliding doors and windows with views of the ocean. Lovely modern bathrooms. Beautiful large kitchen/great living dining area, and porches on every level with with plenty of comfy chairs and a double glider swing for love bugs. ❤️ and don't forget the huge hot tub, very nice!!!!

We visited for Spring Break. The view was breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the ocean every morning. While the house doesn’t have direct beach access, it’s just a short walk and you are there. Good to get some steps in on your way :) we mainly sat outside on the deck to take in the nice weather, view and dolphin and people watch. I would definitely come back again next year. We were very pleased with the house and its location! Our 2 goldens loved it too.

The property is beautiful and everything was clean and in good shape! Easy access to the beach, restaurants and other shops. Other than the spotty internet, it was a great stay. And Vacasa w as extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely rent from Vacasa again!

I loved everything about this rental! I honestly can't say enough good things about it. My husband and I stayed here with our 3 older children (22, 17 and 14) as well as our family dog and had a wonderful vacation! The staff at Vacasa were extremely helpful to me from the time I booked until the time we checked out. The views in the house were breathtaking no matter what window you looked out of. The beach is an extremely short walk to the public beach access and was no trouble at all. My kids loved that they all had an ocean view from their own bedrooms. Thee entire home was stocked with anything we could have possibly needed. The hot tub was amazing and the location was perfect and close to all the local favorites Shaka Taco, Topsail Steamers, The Daily Grind and Sunset Bagelsjust to name a few and the Touch tank aquarium and Karen Beasley Turtle Rescue were some of my kids favorites! So much to do in see all within 10 to 15 minutes of the gem of a home. We saw dolphins almost every day from our balcony and the kids loved seeing the pelicans fly by our deck several times daily. We hadn't even left and we were already planning our next trip to stay at this beautiful home again. Can't wait to come back! I would book this home again and again! Thank you to Vacasa for making it so easy and to the owner for sharing this beautiful piece of heaven with us!

Property was clean and everything we wanted for a relaxing extended weekend. I would book again if I could go direct through the owner or vrbo - and not have to deal with Vacasa too many random text, had to reverify my identity even though I booked through vrbo. Jessica was argumentative when I was trying to get the code instead of simply saying - “I’ll text that to you” instead wanted to argue on how emails worked 😐 totes with previous guest towels were left outside on top of our new towels - 1 towel pack per guest was left inside for a 3 days trip. Again, property was great Vacasa definitely wasn’t impressive.

This house is a hidden gem on this popular island and centrally located between north and south ends of the island. Prime location. The home is also beautifully appointed and very well maintained and cleaned. Major positive features of the home are total unobstructed ocean view, private/secure yard space, elevator for convenience and a kitchen ready for cooking (this is a rarity to have such wide variety of amenities and spices in a rental). Will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

We had a wonderful weekend at this home! It is clear that the owner’s love their home, as do we! We took our family and the grandparents there for our daughter’s 3rd birthday and had a wonderful time! Bringing our dog, Lady Bird was a must as she’s our daughter’s best friend! This house was perfect for the humans and Lady Bird! They even had clean dog bowls waiting when we arrived. We also loved seeing pictures of the owner’s dogs throughout! The house was beautiful, clean and very up to date! The kitchen had everything we could have ever needed and more! They even had a number of baby things that came in very handy for our 4 month old son! The layout was great! The grandparents each had their own bedroom and bathroom downstairs and we were able to stay upstairs with the kids right off the living room. That made it super convenient for getting the babies to sleep and still feeling like we were a part of everything. We loved the view and the quick walk to the beach. A wonderful weekend was had by all, especially by the birthday girl! We will be back!

This house looked very nice on the website and it was even better. The views and decks were our favorites. I love to get fresh seafood and make dinner at home. I’ve never been in such a well furnished kitchen; good pans, utensils, spices, nice dishes and glasses. The furnishings were first class. The elevator was a blessing for my husband. The Vacasa staff was very helpful. We will stay here again.

Good location, well equipped and very comfortable. Beach access is about 100yards down the beach, if not able to ask permission from private dune bridge owners for access using their bridge. Well equipped kitchen, with all appliances necessary for cooking. Good spice selection for cooking. Views of sunrise obscured by neighboring house. HAVE IT REMOVED:) Comfortable beds and mostly firm pillows. Some repairs recommended to management (bathroom items, lighting, lower level deck, outdoor shower), but overall a nice home and would stay there again...

The location is perfect and house is beautiful. Very nice interior decor. Each room is spacious and beach cozy. Hot tub (Jacuzzi) was very nice and clean. Everything you want in an oceanfront home is here. Recommend very highly and will return.

Our family and grandparents had an awesome time at this house. We highly recommend it! The house was extremely clean and everything was ready at our arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was easy to find everything throughout the stay. We found the short walk to the beach easy and very accessible. We would definitely try to stay here again.

Access to the beach very close and easy. Spectacular views right on oceanfront. House was super clean and just as described. High end appliances all worked wonderfully. Plenty of room for all 8 people and a dog! Cannot say enough positive things!

Very close to Surf City where there are shops and restaurants. Between 2 public accesses to the beach, so just a short walk either direction. Having their own access would have been ideal. The small elevator was finicky. The door jammed on the 1st floor our 2nd trip in, so we climbed all flights of stairs with a huge load of stuff. Called it to the 3rd floor, worked fine and was able to open the door on the 1st. 2nd day, 2nd floor door jammed and we weren't able to figure that one out. Wasn't a huge deal breaker because we could still use it for the longest trek Between 1st and 3rd floors. We got our exercise. Beautiful home. Well stocked and clean.

This home was the best vacation rental I have ever booked. My husband and I, along with our dog and babies, have traveled heavily from coast to coast. This home featured a cooks kitchen, a bar with beverage cooler, cotton high end linens, and an overall perfect experience. The home features many beach activities such as sand toys, chairs, kites, bikes, a wagon and cornhole. The home also has a pack n play, portable high chair, walker, kids cups and utensils, it was perfect! Kudos to the home owner and to vacasa. What a wonderful stay!

Absolutely wonderful location. Grandpa, grandma, 2 adult children, 2 grandchildren and a dog. Unobstructed view of ocean. Three minute walk to beach. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Great number of bathrooms and bedrooms. We’d definitely stay again!

House was clean, Kitchen was updated & well stocked with pots, pans, etc... We had a dog with us, so having the steps leading from the decks down into the enclosed yard was very convenient. We had some rain Saturday morning, so the games in the living room were great as well. We would definitely come back.

This house was extremely comfortable for 5 adults. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans that you could actually use. There was plenty of paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent and toilet paper- no running to the store to buy these items because there wasn’t enough to last all week. There were games, including cards, to enjoy and nice televisions in every bedroom. Also, included were beach chairs, beach toys, two bicycles and a tent. The only thing I would have changed was to have a deck that landed at the beach rather than having to walk over to the next street to access the beach. It wasn’t a long walk at all but direct beach access would be great. Loved this place and plan to stay there again. I think that says it all!

The house is well laid out, three bedrooms on the second floor, two full baths, laundry room with excellent washer / dryer and small office. Fast and stable wi-fi. Third floor has a spacious living area with large L-shaped couch / recliner. Small bar area. The kitchen is without a doubt the best, most well stocked kitchen I've ever experienced in a rental property. Plenty of pots and pans, huge selection of utensils and flat wear. There is also a panini press, drip coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, air fryer, food processor, and blender. Fantastic over / stove. Gas grill downstairs with sink beside the hot tub. Ocean front with two decks makes sitting outside for morning coffee, midday lunch or evening drinks a pleasure. Spent a lot of time on the deck reading and watching the waves. The property is pet friendly and the elevator made the outdoor trips for my 10.5 year old Lab very easy. Located just north of Surf City, plenty of necessary shops, pizza (Max's), seafood (JM's On the Water), great Asian food (if you like sushi I recommend Asian Fusion), Mexican (Shaka Taco), outdoor needs (East Coast Sports) are all just moments away. For homemade ice cream, make the ride down to Topsail Beach and hit up Scoops Microcreamery. Outdoor shower is large and was very welcomed after a day in the sand and surf. There is a great kayak launch area just up the street at Onslow Beach Access #2. There are also kayak rentals located there as well.

Beautiful home, very up-to-date, very clean for a dog-friendly home. Well maintained. Lots of deck furniture. Hot tub is wonderful. Elevator is great for unload and loading up days as well as making going up and down to the beach easier on our older dog. Every room has a television. Bathrooms are spacious and plenty.

The home finishings are well done. The home is taken care of well. The elevator was essential for this trip with my mom. The home had everything we needed. The storage room was stocked with chairs, a beach cart, and bicycles. We had no children on this trip, but if we had, they would have been in heaven with everything!
