All four bedrooms of this home have a sliding glass door that leads to the oceanfront deck. Three full bathrooms include a shower with two seats, a tub/shower combination, and another shower with two seats. The home is outfitted with five TVs, three of which are smart TVs that have HD, WiFi, Dolby Digital Plus, and HD Sound). Watch your favorite cable shows, surf the internet, or watch your own Netflix movies. There is also five DVD players and a CD player. The best feature of this home's location is that all the neighborhood's homes are privately owned and public beach access is a mile away, so you only have a few owners and renters on your private beach. The home is pet-friendly, so Fido will be happy running around the private beach and yard area. The ground-level storage room offers beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas for you to use and enjoy. The two covered decks feature a five-person hot tub, a bistro table with bar height chairs for better viewing, rocking chairs, a high chair, and a portacrib. THINGS TO KNOW

The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were made when we got there which was very nice after a long day of driving. We especially appreciated that the house was dog friendly.

If you want a beach front home with great access to an uncrowded beach, this is it. No frills but has just about everything you need. Price was right and accommodations were comfortable, especially given it is dog friendly. Found some sharks teeth and caught some decent fish out front. Will likely stay there again one day.

The location of this home was wonderful for dolphin watching. They put on quite a show for us and since we were visiting in the winter, the huge windows across the front allowed us to be inside and still see them. The open kitchen, dining, living floor plan was perfect for our girls weekend and the hot tub was a most welcome addition after a brisk walk in the cold winter air. The bed in the master bedroom is super firm. I didn't think I would like it, but I ended up sleeping like a log. We were close to the grocery store and excellent restaurants - so a fabulous location for multiple reasons.

WE LOVED THE SUPPLY OF TOILET PAPER WAITING FOR US AT THE END OF A LONG TRIP. THERE WERE TOYS AVAILABLE FOR THE KIDS TO USE ON THE BEACH. THE HOT TUB WAS CLEAN AND READY TO USE. THE FLOOR PLAN IS GREAT WITH EVERY BEDROOM HAVING A VIEW OF THE OCEAN. WALK-IN SHOWERS ARE WONDERFUL. THE NUMBER OF DOLPHINS WE VIEWED DAILY WAS PHEOMINAL, PROVING THAT THE HOUSE WAS MORE THAN ADEQUATELY NAMED. THE BEACH PROVIDED A GREAT AREA IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE AND WAS LOADED WITH SHARKS TEETH. ISSUES WITH CLEANLINESS WERE DEALT WITH AND VACASA RETURNED A SMALL TOKEN FOR OUR TROUBLES. THE OWNERS WERE VERY ACOMODATING FOR OUR SPECIAL REQUEST AS WELL.

Dolphin Vista accommodated our family gathering of three generations comfortably. The view was stellar. The layout of the kitchen made it very comfortable to fix meals and we all appreciated the large square table for both meals and games.

This home is in the perfect location on North Topsail Island. Close to the bridge to go grocery shopping and close to Surf City for lots of fabulous places to eat. Plenty of shells and sharks teeth, beautiful sunrise and sunsets and really enjoyed watching the dolphins swimming.

We loved this house! You can’t beat the location and views. Directly on the beach and private so very little people on the beach. The house had everything we could need. The hot tub was great and there’s even an outdoor shower with warm water beside the hot tub to rinse off. The furniture in the house was dated and beds weren’t super comfy but nothing major and certainly didn’t take away from the experience at all. What I like the most was that this house was away from any condos and the busier part of town but it will still just a short drive to restaurants and the pier.

Being able to walk right out to the beach was our favorite! The home had everything we needed. The hot tub was an extra bonus. We would definitely consider this property for another family vacation.

Our family of 12 (8 adults and 4 children) had a great time. The house was beautiful and came equipped with everything we needed, and with lots of space. Plenty to do with the games and puzzles provided, and we enjoyed the hot tub too. The beach was gorgeous and we loved how private and quiet it was during our April stay. We even saw dolphins a few early mornings. Would definitely recommend the property to others.

We had a great stay, being right on the beach was perfect and it’s close to the grocery store. The hoses and outdoor showers helped limit sand we tracked inside.

What a great house. Our family enjoyed our mini vacation here. The house was big, spacious and had the conveniences of home. The master bedroom mattress was firm just like ours at home. The house had 4 bedrooms with one bedroom with 4 bunk beds in it. Good for children. We loved the fact that the house is right on the beach. You can walk on the back deck and a few steps you are at the ocean. Great view of the ocean and sunsets and sunrises. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely rent this house again next year.

Great location, overall the house is nice. But the furnishings, drapes, etc are OLD. I know it's a beach house, but for what we paid I expected more. Also for what we pay for the cleaning fee I expected it to be cleaner. They need to periodically do a deep clean. We didn't use the hot tub bc I assumed it was gross.

Best thing about this house is the location. Great oceanfront beach view from both levels and short walk down your own private beach access with shower. Also conveniently located near the bridge to the mainland to run out for groceries or other supplies. House was very clean, well stocked kitchen that we made extensive use of and the little things like some toilet paper and soaps included in the bathrooms. Was very satisfied. Great wifi too with no problems with multiple users.

We had a wonderful stay at Dolphin Lookout. We are still talking about how easy it was to go from the house to the beach, up for lunch and back out again. The home was full of lots of extras--fully stocked kitchen, lots of extra bath towels, and beach chairs/umbrellas. The big kitchen table was great for family meals, but also game nights. A few small things could be fixed in the house, but did not take away from having a really great time. It was just right for our three generation of family's visit.

My family of five and our chihuahua had a wonderful stay at Dolphin Lookout. The view and beach access is amazing. I wasn’t thrilled with the property management. We had a few small issues that were not addressed and a few small issues we just didn’t bother asking about because of the slow/no response. Someone, maybe the previous guest had changed the Wi-Fi password so the password provided to us did not work. Luckily my husband works in the tech field and was able to factory reset the router. If I was on my own I would not have had Wi-Fi because I would not have known how to solve the problem. The water in the refrigerator stopped working and we called Vacasa and spoke to someone on the phone, but no one ever came to fix it (though it did start working again at the end of the trip.)One of the bathroom sinks did not properly drain and the light switch in the living room would trip a circuit disabling the power in two bedrooms. We had a wonderful stay despite these issues. The view and location cannot be beat. The hot tub was great in the cooler weather of March.

It is all the photos promise. Called the Vacasa help line because I didn’t receive the codes until later in the day but had lots of reassurance. The view was spectacular complete with dolphins and morning pelicans! Thoroughly enjoyed!

The dolphin house was great for our winter get away and the weather was awesome. We had some issues getting in once we got there, which was very annoying after a long car drive and with kids needing to use the bathroom once we got there but they had to wait until we could get a code that actually worked. Which took about 15-20 min. Once we were in we found the code that got us in didn't work again so we left a slide door unlocked. Of course the house was protected by the dogs when we would go get food. The house was clean and big. Dog friendly which I love cause I hate leaving my babies at home when they have so much fun at the beach. Best advice would to take everything you'll need. We found we had no trash bags, dishwasher tabs, no cloth to wipe down counters, no toilet paper. So come prepared. Now the house does have some seasonings, and all the cook wear that you will need. When it comes to animals... the gate at the bottom of the deck is great. That way they can hang out outside without the worry of them getting away. The hot tube is great for chilly nights and relaxing sore muscles. My favorite is that the 1st floor deck has a shower with cold and HOT water. This was great considering the Temps were chilly at times. As far as beds.... it depends on your preference. The king bed upstairs is so hard... at least for me. My husband loved it tho. So if you like soft beds you'll want to bring a mattress topper. I do find that a 10am check out is kinda early, I would suggest they move it to at least 11am. This house has great beach front access. Prepare for lots of stair walking tho..
