SC1314 Shore Sensation

We love this house! We stayed for a second year. My kids said “It’s like coming home” ☺️. It’s so well equipped with everything you can think of! Kitchen full of stuff. Plenty of chairs, toys and even bikes. We rode bikes on the beach. So much fun! A special touch for this vegan grandma was that I found cruelty free soap, shampoo etc. in the bathrooms. I was very impressed by that. Thank you! 💚.

Home was very clean on arrival. Amazing view. Plenty of room for family. Well stocked kitchen. No need to bring games or books. This home has it all!

This is a great property to rent. There were a couple little maintenance things we noticed as the week went on but we have never stayed in a better stocked home with this perfect layout! Each bedroom having its own bathroom attached was great! The different living areas made for it easy for multiple generations to enjoy time alone or together! Lots of puzzles, games and movies to keep everyone entertained. We will definitely rent this home again!

We loved this property! Each bedroom has its own bathroom attached, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. There were cabinets full of games and puzzles. Separate sitting areas throughout the house to allow for people to hang out alone or all together. There were a couple things that are showing wear but overall one of the best homes we have stayed in and I will return!

I’ve rented many many houses and this was the absolute best stocked house ever!!! There isn’t a single thing I wish they had!!! Add the beautiful decor and fabulous location and it made for a wonderful vacation!! We hope to rent this house again!!!

The location is the best. Not far from restaurants, Shopping and beautiful Beach. House is well equipped had everything we needed and then some. Absolutely the best place we ever rented and we've been coming to Topsail for the last 25 years. Since I became handicapped we needed a place with an elevator and this house has one so I was able to easily go in and out of the house without problems. Just live this house will never go anywhere else. Thank you Vacasa.

Our large family enjoyed this house for the week. The set up was great for kids and the adults really appreciated that they had a separate space to play ping pong and video games. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone, too. The kitchen was well equipped and there were a few grills. Also tons of beach toys and plenty of beach chairs and boogie boards - we didn't even need to bring our own. Especially enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings and the easy private access to the beach. Unfortunately, a new ice maker was supposed to be installed but it was never completed during our stay and the fridge ice maker really couldn't keep up. The washer was also terrible and filled with sand no matter what we did. Had to redo all of the laundry when we got home. But otherwise we were happy with our stay.

We loved everything. This was our first stay in Surf City but won’t be the last. The beach is nice and wide, even at high tide. And no high rises! Definitely a family orient beach.

Shore Sensation has been our "go to" vacation home for many years, and this year was wonderful as usual. We always appreciate the direct beach access, and were glad that this is still the case after last year's hurricane damage; my wife and I saw several houses that sadly had no direct beach access on our morning beach walk. The home has been improved since our last visit, with a new elevator and new seat covers, but it was still the same beautiful home we have loved coming back to regularly.

The kitchen was well stocked. The rooms/bathrooms were a nice size. The two decks were nice to have. The ice machine was a great item to have. The location to town was great. We liked how close to the beach the house was and how clean the beach was. The house was plenty large enough for 12 family members and 1 11 month old little guy. We would stay there again.

The upper deck facing the ocean needs new nails/hardware. Lots of rusted nails and split joists where nailed together that compromise its structural integrity- from a civil engineer. Great location. Beds were comfortable.

This was our second year at Shore Sensation. This house is fantastic for a family trip. The layout of the house is great with spaces to be together and spaces to spread out to. We have been at many beach houses and this one rates at the top for supplies in the kitchen. Everything you could need, and more, for cooking in for the week is there. Also many beach houses sleep more people then there is actually seating in the dining room to all eat together. This one provides a super large table to eat at as well as an island to also sit at. With elderly parents the elevator made it possible for them to enjoy this trip. The oceanfront decks are also well appointed with great seating options in or out of the sun. Finally all the other things in the home like books and games as well as supplies to enjoy the beach or go for a bike ride are great. Don’t hesitate. Book it!!

We loved everything about this house. It is fully stocked with anything you need and you have the beach right out the back door. Vacasa kept us informed with all the information we needed to check in and check out. Overall, it was one of the best vacations we have ever had!

Shore Sensation is the perfect beach house. A room for everyone. Great decks. A kitchen that has everything you might want. A large ice maker!! Game room and a large closet full of beach chairs, nets, boogie boards, etc. Vacasa responded to all our questions and check in and out were super simple. Great vacation!

The house was perfect for us. The layout, five bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths with an elevator was perfect for the elderly in our group. The house is better equipped than any house we’ve ever stayed in with everything you could possibly want or need at your fingertips. Thank you for three great years.

The only real complaint we have is that one week was not long enough for us. The week went by way too fast. Let me start off by saying we loved this home and the location was top notch. This home was so well stocked. We loved the little information cards all over the house. That is such a smart thing to do. They have so many beach toys like boogie boards, kayaks, toys for kids to play in the sand. They had corn hole boards and bikes to ride around the island. They had beach chairs and umbrellas which was great to have there so we didn’t have to bring ours. It was so nice that they had them there for us to use. Our favorite thing of the home was the elevator. It has spoiled us for future rentals. They have a game room with ping pong and foosball. They have so many board games, puzzles and movies to watch if you choose too. The house was so well stocked and we loved having the washer and dryer at our convenience along with the laundry detergent. It was also such a nice surprise seeing that they had a Keurig and also a Google Assistant device we could use. We loved it there. I can’t imagine anyone having much to complain about if they were to stay here. If I was to complain about anything I would say maybe an update would be nice on the furnishings but everything was actually great. Thank you for letting us use your home for the week.

The home accommodated us well. The deck railing is shaky and nails pop up on decking floor when walking out to beach. Other than this (which is very minor compared to everything else the house offers) it is a great place to have a vacation and we are thankful to the owners for having it available.
