Description Description
This oceanfront five-bedroom home is the perfect vantage point from which to take in incredible views of the ocean and beach can be had from the two oceanfront decks. Stroll across the first level deck to your private boardwalk and head on down to the beach to warm your toes in the sand. A convenient outdoor shower is installed along one side of the boardwalk to rinse those toes before heading into the great room by way of the deck. The first level has a sprawling great room that looks out over the great blue ocean. As you enter into the living area, an oceanfront deck straight ahead. Two sofas welcome you to sit back and relax. Two white washed bamboo swivel rockers provide additional seating. A large square coffee table is great for card games or beverages. Across the room is the dining area with seating for six at the oceanview table. The room is open to the sleek lines of the white kitchen. White appliances blend nicely and include a side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker, smooth top stove, built-in microwave, and dishwasher. A pantry closet is located to the left of the refrigerator. The gray-speckled countertop circles the perimeter and provides an abundance of cooking space. White floor tiles compliment the sleek look. The cabinets offer dish and cookware in addition to the blender, coffeemaker, can opener, and double toaster.

Perfect Stay for my wedding party
The moment we walked in, the view was INCREDIBLE! Parking was easy, getting in was easy - the rooms are very spacious, & it was very clean when we arrived. It was within walking distance of beach shops, Shaka Taco & Daddy Mack’s which are always a fave when we’re down here. It was so beach themed & so perfect. It was also reasonably priced for all 7 of us to stay, everyone got their own rooms. For my first time ever using Vacasa, there couldn’t have been a better experience.

Great location!
Loved being able to walk to the pier, dining and shopping. Furniture and carpet needs a refresh. Newer deck and plenty of outside seating.

Surf City on the beach
Location was great, right on the beach, awesome deck, walking distance to shops, restaurants, quiet area, spacious home

Great location. Beautiful home.
You can’t beat this location and home. Walkable to food, shopping, the pier… everything! The deck was beautiful, and we watched dolphins from the top deck. The house was easy to find and very clean upon arrival. Great space for multiple families and kids. Kitchen was spacious & stocked with pots and pans for when we did want to cook. Will definitely stay again!

6/28-7/5 Stay
The Hanover house was larger than expected. There were two pull out couches, when only one was listed, which was great. The deck had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sounds & view of the ocean. It fit my family very well. The location was overall good- plenty to do in a short walking distance. The public access directly next door can get noisy and draw in many people. Overall our stay was very good.

Great getaway
The spaciousness of this home was great. Clean and simple furnishings. Well supplied with amenities. We love the Surf city/ Topsail area.

Family reunion
This was the perfect place for our reunion. Just steps from the beach for swimming, searching for shells and sharks teeth. The house was exactly as advertised. All appliances worked except the ice maker, but the freezer is big enough for a bag of ice. The house is next to a public parking lot but there was no problem with noise. The chairs on the walkway were useful on the beach. We had a small problem with linens that was not resolved by Vacasa but we found a work around and it didn't impact our satisfaction.

Great oceanfront house
In our 40+ years of beach trips with friends, this is one of the best houses we've had. Perfect size and # of beds/baths, clean and spacious. The only complaint it that the ice maker did not work.

Wonderful house!
This is our 2nd time staying here at Hanover House. Great location, very clean, no TVs in the bedrooms which was great for us!!!
