We had 2 families, 4 adults and 4 kids. This home worked perfect for our group. We love the extra refrigerator in the basement, this cut the amount of ice we had to purchase throughout the week in half. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. The AC worked great which is always a plus for us. We loved the location as we prefer Topsail Beach over North Topsail or Surf City. It's conveniently located to the center of Topsail Beach and minutes away from the inlet which we always spend a day there. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful week in the home. The kitchen was a dream with tons of counter space and room for many cooks to be in there at once. Plenty of room at the dining table and living room. The back deck is composite and was not hot on the feet, which was a welcome surprise. The basement game room was a real highlight for the kids with the air hockey table and dart board, as well as the extra refrigerator/freezer for drinks. I wish there was a way to search for that feature when booking because it saved us many trips for ice and dealing with coolers. Highly recommend loading/unloading cars in the garage. We inherited a leaky toilet on check-in day but Vacasa was responsive in getting that message passed along and the plumbers fixed it quickly on Monday. Bedding was comfortable, clean, and bedrooms had good curtains to keep the light out. Washer and dryer looked practically brand new, and you couldn't even hear the dishwasher when it was on. There was an outdoor shower underneath the deck but we didn't use it. Beach was beautiful and plenty of space between neighbors. Make sure to wear shoes to/from the beach because it's a pretty long walk and you'll really burn your feet in the summer months. Overall we had a great week with our 3 kids and 2 sets of grandparents. Would definitely come back!

We loved being able to sit on the couch and watch the surf and wide expanse of beach. Not crowded during our week in May, and the weather was much nicer than predicted. Mostly sunny and pleasant temps. Everything was very clean, and the beds were comfy. Lots of space to stretch out in the living area. We cooked a lot after buying fresh seafood, so we also appreciated the large kitchen island and well-equipped cupboards. Pots and pans of all sizes and plenty of utensils. It was great to have Godwin’s grocery just down the lane to pick up things forgotten in trips to larger stores in Surf City, and we loved lunching across the street from there for Baha shrimp tacos and soft shell crab sandwiches at the food truck. Soooooo delicious. Water temps were too chilly for this Midwesterner, but we enjoyed watching the occasional brave souls hopping the nice-sized waves, unbothered by the chill. This area was new to us, so we also enjoyed exploring and having Wilmington close by. Thanks for providing us with a lovely spot to which we are likely to return.

We normally deal with homeowners on VRBO and have stayed at another home for over 7 years. This is our first experience with Vacasa. The home was immaculate, with comfy beds and lots of room to spread out. The kitchen has every size of pan and container you could possibly need. The view of the beach was more awesome than I had expected, you can see thr beach and ocean from the comfort of the dining table or the sofas. I would love to stay here again!!!

We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen! Plenty of space to sit at the island while watching others cook! Convenient to the beach and an excellent ocean view from the house!

We really enjoyed this house and location. The beach area was uncrowded and flat. The beds were comfortable. There was a TV in every room. The kitchen was well stocked with accessories. The furniture was nice.

The house was the perfect size. The location is amazing. You are not only right on the beach but when we were on the beach no one was close to us at all. It was like being on our own private beach.

We traveled with two families (with small children). We had plenty of space! The home has the perfect view, is so close to the ocean, has a stocked kitchen & the check in/out process was a breeze!

We had a great week long stay. Beautiful, quiet, uncrowded area of Topsail Beach. House is nicely redone, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, just the right amount of decor. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook next summer.

This house is located right on the ocean with unobstructed views from living/dining/ kitchen area and two of the four bedrooms. Kitchen is well done and island is perfect for food prep and gatherings. Dining table is huge and seats 8 comfortably. Location on Topsail is ideal, quiet but close to shops and restaurants as well. The beach in front of the house is the star with a very wide open beachfront.

I came to Topsail each summer as a child, and our family owned a home on the south end. This property is very close by, and it was such a joy to be back! My children had never experienced Topsail’s charm, and they were enamored. The beach was steps away. The house seemed like an original build but TOTALLY updated- very clean, bright, and fresh inside! Fantastic furniture, well stocked kitchen, new appliances. I loved the panoramic view of the ocean and all of the balcony space. Our family has four young kids, and this property was safe and fun for them. Local restaurants and shops are just minutes away, so popping out for takeout was a breeze. We enjoyed every moment of our winter beach weekend in this lovely home. Thank you!

In search of a relaxing ocean view home for a pre-holiday break for a sisters get-away, we chose Slow Your Roll. The house was perfect. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds comfortable and the ocean views/sunrises were outstanding. Just what we needed. We did have some issues with amenities that the management company and owner resolved to our satisfaction.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Location was perfect. Beach access was right there and beach wasn't crowded at all. House was roomy and comfortable. Def worth staying here.

The house was beautiful and the views were stunning. Kitchen had everything you might need. Bunk room was perfect for our teenagers. Lots of beach gear. Garage with air hockey table served as a great hang out spot. We had a wonderful time and hope to return next summer!

We absolutely loved our vacation at Topsail Beach. Slow Your Roll is a wonderful home with the beach and ocean right outside your door. It was like having our own private beach. The weather was wonderful, the beach was great, and the house, well the house - very clean, had all the amenities you would need - the kitchen has everything including 2 different coffee makers. It was nice not having to pack our towels & bed linens. It was perfect!!

The house is very nice and looks as advertised. It was so convenient being able to go from the house to the beach and back. The house and the beach were nice and clean. There weren’t many people on the beach so you have it mostly to yourself. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths including all the kitchen goodies anyone could need. Quick response to a concern - We had one issue with a shower and the maintenance guy showed up the next day and took care of it. Loved the open kitchen, dining area and living room - you can watch the waves from anywhere in that space or step out on the deck for an up close encounter. Lovely home and very relaxing space.. .just what we needed!

The whole family loved this location on the island..the ability to walk right out to the ocean from the house..not a crowded beach…plenty of room for the whole family…beautiful sunrises while enjoying the deck!
