Located just a short walk to the beach, this spacious home is the perfect choice for a memorable family adventure! Two oceanfront decks and one sound-side deck allow you all to admire and revel in the gorgeous views no matter where you are. The outdoor shower allows you to rinse off the sand after spending your day at the beach. Entertainment is assured with cable TVs and free WiFi. Cool down in the community outdoor pool. The living room invites you to do nothing but relax and have a great time! Watch your favorite show on the large TV, read a good book, or entertain your group by cooking them their favorite meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The kitchen is complete with a full-size fridge, a built-in oven, a built-in microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster oven, and a stovetop. The center island has bar seating, and there is a large dining table - perfect for sharing meals and highlights from the day. The community pool will be open from May 1 until October 1.

We had a nice stay. Deck to walk out to beach was nice. Decks are close to neighbors, so if it is a busy week, your space will be limited. This is our favorite neighborhood in Topsail to stay in. House was open and felt inviting and homey. Beds are out dated. There is no where for pets to potty by the house so you have to walk them down the drive way. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the house was nice.

Great dog friendly beach house

The location is great, there was almost no one on the beach we had it all to ourselves. Big beautiful sandy beach with great waves for boogie boarding. Nice to have an unpretentious, dog friendly house with its own beach access.

We loved the location of this home on the northern end of the island it was quieter and more scenic. The location is also close to a bridge that will take you to nearby services. The home has its own beach access to a beautiful beach far enough away from public access to not be crowded at all. The home is cozy and has plenty of room. We also liked that the house itself is pushed back a little from the dune so you can sit out on your deck(s) and not have to be right on top of neighbors to left and right. The home is dog friendly and has gates everywhere outside to keep the dogs from running off but still lets them enjoy the outdoors. We loved our stay here.

Whale Den Great Vibes

We stayed at the Whale Den to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. The house has a great beach vibe, relaxing, clean and enough room that we could be together and yet sleep well in our own space.

We loved the Direct beach access. The space was perfect for separating kid and adult activities. The outdoor shower was a huge hit with the little boys in our group. We were pleased to find the kitchen was better supplied than the listing made it out to be.
