We love being on the inlet, short walk to the beach and great part of island.

This house was very clean, well stocked and had a great dock that had plenty of seating with a great view. Easy walk to the beach and just minutes by boat to the crystal blue waters of south topsail. The only thing of note for the house is that the single bedroom in the downstairs portion of the house is only accessible by going outside down the stairs and entering from an exterior door. There are no interior stairs. This was not a huge deal for our party however, for a family with young kids it may present a problem of who takes the room away from the kids. I didn’t see this disclosed in the listing and I think it may need to be. The downstairs has the washer/dryer a second full refrigerator and a sink as well as a full bathroom. It is a very nice area, just no interior connection to the upstairs. If you have a boat, bring bumpers for the dock as you will get some wake from boats in the ICW.All in all this is a great house.

wonderful! great location. cottage was so clean and well furnished. outdoor furniture was comfortable. canal view and great area for docking boat. everything we hoped for.

If you're a boater this is the spot for you! Location is perfect for accessing the channel and the dock is very and the sunsets are amazing. Beautiful decor inside. Outside shower was my favorite.

We had such a great week at this place! The location is amazing — the ocean is literally just 4 houses away, so it only took a minute or two to walk over for a swim or to catch the sunrise. Out back, the house sits right on the canal, which was perfect for paddleboarding and swimming right off the dock. One morning we even saw porpoises in the sound — seriously cool! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We loved going on bike rides and evening walks. It felt really safe and relaxing the whole time. The house itself was super comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. The furniture and decor felt updated and fresh, and the kitchen had all the basics. It was really easy to settle in and feel at home. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a chill, waterfront getaway. We didn’t want to leave!
